I got friends in robotic places! We’ve been cracking out a lot of Robot goodness this month and there’s still a full week of fun ahead, but let’s stop and take a look at some other cool robots around the web. It’s the best of what’s around, Robot edition.

If my Berties ever get to shipping I’ll be checking in with some reviews of these guys myself, but Philip over at Battle Grip took a look at all seven wicked World War Robot Berties this week. He deserves massive props for what no doubt was a huge undertaking.

If you’re in the UK and you love your child, you’ll get them this awesome 3 FOOT TALL Cyberman birthday cake. Man, that puts every birthday cake I ever had to shame. I imagine if you eat it, you become like one of them… TASTY!

Japan loves their giant robots and Tetsujin is the original giant Japanese robot. We’ve been giving Tetsujin a lot of love here during March of the Robots, but Japan truly gave this guy some love by constructing a giant lifesize version of the mechanical monstrosity in Kobe, Japan. Check out the Tetsujin 28 Kobe project for tons of videos and pictures. It’s all in Japanese, but it’s not hard to navigate around and see how the whole thing came about and the impressive finished product.

Totally Robot is a site dedicated to nothing but cool robot art. Sadly it looks like the site is on hiatus, but that doesn’t mean you can’t check out this groovy pimp robot from the 1950’s at the link ahead… Retro Pimpbot. Pimpin’ ain’t easy!

When it comes to robots, few are cooler than the awesome Robbie the Robot from Forbidden Planet. Ever wanted to own one for yourself? Well over at The Robotman website you can own one for about $17,000! If that sounds like too much, get a replica C-3PO for about $6,000. There’s also replicas of B-9 from Last in Space, Gort, Cylons and much more! I would own all of these if I was filthy rich.

Keep checking in here at Infinite Hollywood all month long for special posts marked MARCH OF THE ROBOTS for more mechanized mayhem!
