There’s a new web series called “That Show With Michael Rakosi” that’s making the rounds. In it, Michael Rakosi sits down and discusses a variety of topics with other men. Some people have said it’s like “The View” for men, but that seems more like a disservice than anything. This is a short chat show about guy talk.

I liken this to be a bit more like a roundtable at the firehouse or the gym, between guys. No nonsense, straight forward discussions about various issues. No politics or sports talk, just real true life issues. Watching the episodes I’m reminded of the stories and interactions on TV shows like Rescue Me, except these are real life conversations with real men. Men who have come from all walks of life and have a diverse take on the world they live in.

Sometimes the guys get a little off topic and start talking about nonsense and the other guys are quick to call them on the BS. Michael does a good job of keeping the conversations fresh and interesting and I can see how this show is getting praise. If you’re interested in true “guy talk” discussions that aren’t just about the same old tired sports cliches and watered down chat, then this is the show for you.

The shows are brief and highlight the best parts. Clearly some good editing has been done. For more information check out the official website.
