The folks at Kia Rio dreamed up an awesomely fun adventure to promote their 2012 Kia Rio 5-door! Taking one pop musician, five famous Los Angeles locales and a lot of challenging clues in a scavenger hunt of the lifetime for two lucky teams. This scavenger hunt proved to be quite the contest for both teams, although one group had a bit of an advantage as they’d lived in the area before. Can the suped up Kia with all it’s features like a USB jack and rear camera display even the odds?

Their destinations? First they answered L.A. questions at the historic Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round, one of the oldest theme park attractions around, before jet setting off to the legendary Amoeba Records where they had to find a hidden Christina Milian CD. Using their Kia’s UVO Technology they were able to hit up all the spots, including Rodeo Drive and unlike in Pretty Woman, they weren’t shopping, they were counting trees!

Next it was a mad dash to Pink’s Hot Dogs for an eating contest of sorts and then finally it was down the stretch as the two teams of Kia Rio hunters headed to the iconic Roosevelt Hotel for a chance to chat with Christina Milian!

So which team won? Well you have to watch the video below to see:

They zipped and dashed through Los Angeles with their powerful and roomy Kias, but you don’t have to do all that. Simply check out the Rio Explorer Page for details on all the great benefits of this sleek ride.

Personally I loved the Bluetooth options and the UVO technology that helped even the novice people in the area find Milian through all the obstacles. I’d love to go on a scavenger hunt like this using a Kia Rio, perhaps on a quest to find my favorite superstar, famous wrestler Koko B. Ware! I hope Frankie would be there too!

Watch the video above and let us know what you think and who you’d like to use a Kia Rio to hunt down!
