Be sure to read below on how you can win a free Freschetta Pizza and a cutting board!

We here at Infinite Hollywood love to dine on pizza just about as much as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! A few years ago, I worked at a place that allowed me to try just about every type of frozen pizza on the planet. Honestly, I was not a big fan of most brands. However, when Freschetta came along with their new Simply Inspired brands of pizza, I decided to give them a try. Can they break the tradition of less than stellar frozen pizzas?

Freschetta sent along a coupon for a free pizza to try on one of their eight distinctive flavor varieties. My local grocer only had four of those, but they all looked pretty good. In fact, although I had a coupon for a freebie, I couldn’t help but purchase another one! It was tough to decide which pizza I wanted.

I opted to go with the Hawaiin Style and the Harvest Supreme. If you win a free pizza in our contest, you can choose one of these flavors or six other varieties. Even if you don’t enter the contest you can head on over to the Freschetta Facebook page and “Like” it or check out @FreschettaSI on Twitter and get some great coupons to try one for yourself.

A quick look at the instructions says that these bad boys only take about 15 minutes tops. That’s great for me because I hate waiting forever for a frozen pizza. The packaging is actually quite small but yet, much better than most pizzas as it’s sealed up and not just with cheap plastic that can be ripped open.

Here’s a look at both pizzas inside the container. They have what they call a “FRESCH-TASTE SEAL™ Packing” and it not only locks in all the flavors to prevent any unsavory frozen taste, but it also uses 30% less packaging materials. That’s something that everyone can appreciate!

15 minutes later and these babies are ready to eat! Now of course, the big question is, how do they taste?

I must say, both pizzas were very good. The Hawaiian style was one of the best interpretations of that style of pizza I’ve ever had and certainly better than any of the other frozen versions on the market. The BBQ sauce on it was just right and very flavorful.

I don’t like tomatoes in general, which may make it a bit odd that I chose to get the Harvest Supreme, but overall it was quite enjoyable. Even though I don’t love tomatoes, it was still very tasty and all the talk about locking in fresh taste is not just talk, it’s legit. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful on both pizzas. That’s something you rarely see in the frozen pizza game.

Overall I was impressed with both pizzas and they’ve made a fan out of me. There were plenty of ingredients on each one and they were both fresh tasting and had no “freezer” taste like so many others on the market.
