So here’s a late night Easter eve review for you. It’s of these little chocolate eggs I found at Big Lots. What makes this egg so special? It’s got a marshmallow duck inside! Let’s see if these Waddles chocolate eggs are all they’re CRACKED up to be. Oh egg humor, do you ever get old?

Opening it up, it’s a pretty basic looking egg. In fact it looks exactly like a plastic egg, except it’s made of chocolate. It makes me wonder if they don’t use the same machine to make the plastic eggs and these chocolate ones. Honestly, if I had to guess I’d say yes. The chocolate on this egg tasted pretty terrible.

Inside is this pretty cool marshmallow duck. It’s actually a lot cuter than I thought it would be. I wasn’t expecting eyes or a beak. Spiffy!

Taste wise, much to my surprise, the duck tastes pretty good. It’s not just a Peep. Instead it has some sort of flavoring in the duck itself. I can’t say what, just that it’s fruity.

The duck bill is pretty crunchy though. Whatever the case, for under a buck I think this Waddles candy makes for a neat little addition to anyone’s Easter basket. Eat it if you dare!

He was tasty (although slightly hard to bite into) and super cute! I didn't know I was going to like this as much as I did!
