Behold the new king of pumpkin tasting drinks… It’s the Jamba Juice Pumpkin Smash!

It seems that every year during the 31 Days of Halloween, I find a new pumpkin ice cream style drink. First it was the Dairy Queen Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, then it was the Culver’s Pumpkin Pie Spice Shake, but now it’s Jamba Juice with pumpin flavored greatness. Don’t be fooled just because “Pumpkin Smash” does not have pumpkin pie in the name.

It tastes more like a pumpkin pie than either of the other two. It does so in a healthy fashion as well. Okay it’s not super healthy, but it’s only 390 calories for the 16 ounce, which is certainly better than the DQ Pumpkin Pie Blizzard of the same size which has a whopping 770 calories. The Jamba Juice Pumpkin Smash is also free of any saturated or trans fat! Huzzah! I can eat like 15 of these and not be a big blob!

Seriously though, back to the taste. I don’t know how they do it, but the Jamba Juice Pumpkin Smash is the creamiest and smoothest taste of pumpkin out there. Sure a smoothie is supposed to be, well, smooth, but this thing is like liquid velvet in your mouth. It tastes awesome.

This thing has such a mind blowing taste that when my GF took a drink her frist reaction was to say, “Oh my word”. Yes, it so damn good that it made her speak like it’s 1940. It’s that tasty!

Also here’s another tip… Do not get that pretezel. It tastes like feet.

I know every year I seem to be saying to get one of these pumpkin flavored treats for Halloween, but this one is probably the best option yet. It’s tasty, better for you and it’s got the ingredients that will make your tastebuds do the MONSTER MASH! PUMPKIN SMASH!

  • - Beth, the GF says:

If I thought I could live off this for the next couple months, I totally would. Word.

  • Rexplode says:

Newt, you son of a bitch, I'm mad at you for reminding me of my lack of Jamba Juice.

I went to San Francisco for a trading card game tournament (yes, I am a huge loser) with a bunch of friends and we were basically all addicted to Jamba Juice for the week. I'm talking 3-4 a day minimum. I'm pretty sure one of my buddies stayed behind because of JJ.

  • I used to go there quite a bit, but not so much anymore… Until I discovered their Pumpkin Smash. Now I can't stop myself.
