You know despite seeing that other folks have had some luck, I still haven’t seen DCUC Wave 10. I’ve pretty much given up on looking for it and given up on DC Universe Classics in general. I realize that by now I probably could have gotten DCUC Wave 10 off Ebay or some other avenue, but I’d really just like to buy it in store. I’m not sure why that’s such a hard concept. But today I thought, maybe I’ll just buy the Joker online. The prices for the figure aren’t terrible, but they’re more than I care to pay…

Then I saw this beauty. It’s from overseas and I can actually afford this Joker and not feel bad about it. Except, take a closer look at that desription, “All figures may paint lost and dirt randomly.”

Damn it Mattel, is it so much for me to want to buy the Joker for under $20 and not have “may paint lost and dirt randomly”? And so the saga continues…

These overseas dealers seem to have wholesale access to new factory products, which, in the past, has included stuff such as loose single and multi-pack Joes with only certain weapons included and not much else. With Mattel product, all JLU, DCUC, and DCIH auctions mention the possible paint dirt/wear/loss. I'm thinking these figures are piled up in a warehouse somewhere, unpackaged and thus, subject to damage. That's just my take on it.

Nice to see Tom and Jon up there, btw.

I can prolly pick you up one from my store if ones still there, they recently cracked open 2 cases of wave 10 and its really not moving very fast.

I wouldn't give up hope just yet, Newton. I don't know where your base of operations is, but here in SE Massachusetts, sightings of this figure are becoming pretty common.

The only problem with DCUC figures is that they're like potato chips: You can't stop at just one! I know. I've tried!

I feel your pain. This is one of the greatest action figures ever, and I can't find one anywhere. Wave 10 has been turning up in my area (KC, MO) a bit in recent weeks, and even Power Girls are becoming common… but Joker is still merely a figment of my imagination.
