The fine folks at OSneaker.com sent me this press release for their new GI Joe Cobra themed Nike shoes. I can only hope they also plan on sending me a pair (size 15 fellas!) but they definitely look pretty cool. It's totally something different and I'm shocked that they made them but I believe there is a decent market for collectable sneakers.

With the highly anticipated release of the blockbuster film GI JOE, Nike has released this very special pair of Nike Hyperize Supreme Destro edition. Destro is a member of the Cobra team, the much despised enemy of the Joes. Destro didn't make his official appearance until the end of the movie but we can expect him to be a very important character in the next GI Joe movie. The packaging of this shoe is really special and a great collectable to add to any collection.

Storm Shadow was a very important character in the movie who ended up getting killed off in the end, but Nike did his character justice with this amazing shoe. The packaging of this shoe is really special and a great collectible to add to any collection.
