About Newt
Purveyor of Pop Culture, Professor of Pro Wrestling and award winning amateur scientist, Newton Gimmick founded and currently runs InfiniteHollywood.com. Newton has written for various websites such as 411mania and TNAWrestlingNews, before venturing out to stake his own claim of cyberspace in 2007. One of many web writers not afraid to profess his love of 80's cartoons, toys, pseudo sports and Jem. What makes Newton unique from the others? He does it all from the comfort of his custom, Denver: The Last Dinosaur Snuggie.

About Wesitron
Being the odd man out was always hard for Wesitron. Born a southpaw on the mean streets of the Bluegrass State, he learned to fight and claw for acceptance against his oppressors. “Lefties are people, too” they condescended. And with a smirk does he sip his Diet Dr. Thunder, for he is both cunning and refined. A smirk, dear friends, which always points to the left.

About Jon
The newest member of the crew, Jon's our resident Beastmaster. Not just because he looks like Marc Singer, but because he lives with a guinea pig. Also, one time he wrestled bare with bear hands. Yeah, think about that one for a minute.

About Rob
What does one do with a Master’s degree in English? Why, write movie reviews, of course! Rob lives in scenic Michigan, where, during the 13 months of winter his state is blessed with, he keeps himself warm watching good, bad, and ugly science fiction films. No premise is too shaky, no prequel is too shady, and no rubber monster is too, er, rubbery to dissuade his viewing.

About Bill
Bill White has worked with nearly every comic book publisher on the planet. His highlights include comics for Casper, Donald Duck and Scooby-Doo! His work has also been in the animation field where he contributed on Ren & Stimpy and Inspector Gadget, among others. His own creation, Kaptain Keen and Kompany is in the process of being compiled for a complete collection. Any artwork on this site that's worth a damn, has probably been drawn by Bill! Check out his website at: Bill White Cartoons and tell him how much you love his artwork here!

Is Nicolas Cage going to be in the Green Hornet? Who will play Kato? Is Cameron Diaz going to be a part of it? And what's so damned special about the Green Hornet anyway?

Variety reports that Nicolas Cage is in early talks to play the gangster villain in The Green Hornet. Cameron Diaz is still in talks to play the film's love interest. Seth Rogen will star as the Green Hornet. Stephen Chow recently left the film, leaving the role of Kato vacant.

Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) will direct. Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script.

The film is due out on July 9th, 2010.

I have to tell you this sounds interesting to me. I'm bummed that Stephen Chow is out of the picture but I think Nic Cage could play an interesting villain character. Cage is better when he can dive into a unique role and I think a villain lead could give him that. As for who should fill Kato's shoes? Everyone wants to put a name martial artist in the role, but Bruce Lee was largely unknown when he got the original part and I think a unknown but talented kung-fu actor would be great.

A lot of people will tell you that Green Hornet is all about Kato, but I honestly disagree. Make no mistake, Bruce Lee was badass as Kato in the 1960's, but the Green Hornet was always about Van Williams and the Hornet to me. He's got a sidekick who is very much his equal (whereas Robin is kind of a wuss) and that makes their dichotomy much different, but Hornet kicks plenty of ass on his own.

The Green Hornet has a lot of similarities to Batman. However Hornet also has some similarities to Spider-Man and Superman in the sense that he works for a newspaper. So is Hornet one big ripoff? Nope. Actually everyone ripped Hornet off. So the movie could be a great way to show off this vintage hero in a modern flare and give the character some of it's roots back.

I think Seth Rogen could be a great Green Hornet is he actually plays the role serious. He has the looks and although he's not as dashing as Van Williams, he can clean up well. I just recently watched Pineapple Express and if you look hard enough between the crude humor you see that a real action movie is there. Hopefully that's what this turns into a fun summer action flick and not a comedy vehicle.

If Cage comes on board I'd expect this to get more serious. I can take or leave Diaz.
